The present invention is a nutritional supplement. It is an amino acid stack which, taken orally, allows the pituitary gland to produce agents that assist in cell regeneration and repair. One object of the present invention is to assist these agents. Further objects of the present invention may also result, namely; inhibiting hyperglycaemia, enhancing fat conversion, assisting in lowering cholesterol, and normalizing lipid balance.

A further novel aspect of the supplement of the present invention is the addition of the sulphur-containing branch-chain amino acids leucine, iso-leucine and valine, all of which themselves have a synergistic effect in combination with the cell regeneration and repair agents that are released to build and improve muscle mass and strength.

A nutritional supplement for ingestion by humans for restoring cell regeneration and repair levels consisting of unmodified rapidly absorbed free-form crystalline amino acids, in an amino acid stack which does not include non-amino acid nutritional supplementation. wherein said amino acids consist of the amino acids leucine, isoleucine, valine, lysine, glutamine, ornithine and glycine.
